Get your money right in ‘09!

There’s literally nothing more baller than having your finances in order. What better way to start off the new year than to begin fortifying your financial foundation. Most people in their early twenties, like myself, may not know how to begin. Whether it’s the start of a career or a part time gig, youth and steady income can lead to overspending and lavish living, which if allowed to spiral, can form some pretty bad habits. Sometime in early ‘08 I stumbled onto moneyunder30.com and have been recommending it to my peers ever since. It’s a great resource for most things regarding personal finances, and covers everything from saving and investing, to credit and real estate. What I like most is that everything is written from a welcoming perspective that doesn’t take a bunch of business savvy to understand. Nor does it come off with the “SHOPPING IS WRONG!, BE FRUGAL!” vibe that some financial resources tend to impart. DEFINITELY peep it ASAP, and start ‘09 the right way.

    I Have A Confession To Make…

I really love books and magazines. Vogue, GQ, fiction, autobiographies, and even books for dummies. I love them all. I sometimes find myself in Barnes and Noble for hours just browsing through the aisles. I end up sitting at a table with a dozen books...
