Designing Obama

designing-obama

The Obama Campaign was revolutionary in just about every aspect. One aspect that gets overlooked pretty regularly is the beautiful design behind all communication materials. The O logo, the website, the print take-aways, motion graphics/video, everything, was extremely well executed and consistent. The design director Scott Thomas has gotten together with a a bunch of artists and designers to put together a printed book chronicling the all the design aspects of the campaign and the story behind their development. To get one you have to pre-order the yet to printed books. They are currently raising money and have to reach the $65,000 mark before any of them are printed and distributed. If they don’t reach it no books will be printed and money will be given back. To check out the status of the fundraising process go here and to reserve your copy and also help make it to $65,000 so that these books can be printed go here.
