Due To The Weather…

If you’re looking for me, I can be located in the nearest movie theater. Movie hopping is my number one cold weather activity. That and eating pizza and wings in the house. #dontjudgeme. Anyway, since it’s been so cold I’ve been seeing a lot of movies so I just wanted to give you folks some brief reviews. First of all, “Ninja Assassin” was CRAZY!!!! And it actually had some substance to it, surprisingly. Not that I really cared, because I was expecting nothing but flying swords and gushing blood. There was plenty of that, but there was a great story to support all the violence. Amazing graphics and martial arts make this a must see before it leaves theaters. I also checked out that new Columbus Short and Laurence Fishburne flick, Armored. Another action  movie, but not as good as Ninja Assassin in my opinion. Maybe I was just in a shallow mood the night I saw this, because the film came off as a bit too serious for me. It was good, though and had a great story. Just got a little rigid for me at certain points. I do recommend it though, so go check it out. The last movie I saw was “Up In the Air” starring George Clooney. I love the humor this guy brings to his roles. A little bit of Danny Ocean never hurt anybody and Clooney surely brought some of that into his new character. He played an intriguing business man who spent most of his time flying and in hotel rooms. This is the tale of his travels. Turns out to be a love story, but a great movie nonetheless. Don’t sleep. P.S. The Book of Eli and Brooklyn’s Finest look like they are going to be great flicks too! Just a heads up.
