So I was recently on one of my Barnes & Noble expeditions the other day, which usually consist of me perusing through magazines and photography books for hours. This time around, I just went straight to the magazine section because I was seeking inspiration for a school project and didn’t have much time to find it.

This was very refreshing to see, I must say. I’m a huge fan of V Magazine and I always love their choice of models but they switched it up this time. This months issue features a different kind of model; the plus sized woman.

Google Chrome Commercial
The new Google web browser ‘Chrome’ released last week and although I’ve downloaded it and installed, I haven’t taken a dive to see how it ranks usability wise. It looks great and from what I noticed it did run smoother than Firefox on my machine. Either way, whether your interested in the browser or not, take a look at this commercial done by the agency BBH New York and produced by 1st Ave Machine, both of whom do GREAT work that I more than respect. Natalie Portman has come a long way in her acting career and somehow she seems to only get better with each movie. I personally think she’s sexy, especially in this photo shoot she recently did for V Magazine.

I Am Thankful For Lupe Fiasco: “Enemy of the State” Mixtape
Chicago native, Lupe Fiasco, is by far one of my favorite rappers. His wordplay and punchlines are some of the best in the game so, as you can imagine, I was ecstatic when I heard he released a new mixtape.

I Want A Beyonce For Christmas: Video Phone Remix
I’ve been hearing mixed reviews about the “Video Phone” Remix by Beyonce featuring Lady Gaga so I decided to see what all the hoopla was about. I personally LOVE this video. The graphics, outfits, and overall concept are pretty dope and it’s nice to see Beyonce in color for once. What did you think of this video? And where can I get one of those cool guns?!
