I Have A Confession To Make…
I really love books and magazines. Vogue, GQ, fiction, autobiographies, and even books for dummies. I love them all. I sometimes find myself in Barnes and Noble for hours just browsing through the aisles. I end up sitting at a table with a dozen books and mags to look through but on my most recent visit, I decided to pick some things up.

We are officially one month into the new year. If you’re anything like me, you already had it in your head that 2010 was going to be a great year for you. If you are ME than you’ve gotten off to a slow start due to the fact that you haven’t quite shaken off all of the prior years bad habits just yet.

Apparently, She’s The Man…
Fashion is such an amazing art form. Everyday, people are creating masterpieces, whether they know it or not. Sometimes, I find myself just going to places like Union Square to just take it all in. It’s pretty cold outside these days so I just settle for magazines like Vogue.

Respect Magazine Premiere Issue
So I was recently on one of my Barnes & Noble expeditions the other day, which usually consist of me perusing through magazines and photography books for hours. This time around, I just went straight to the magazine section because I was seeking inspiration for a school project and didn’t have much time to find it.

The Big V: Plus Sized Model Spread In V Magazine
This was very refreshing to see, I must say. I’m a huge fan of V Magazine and I always love their choice of models but they switched it up this time. This months issue features a different kind of model; the plus sized woman.

Natalie Portman For V Magazine
Natalie Portman has come a long way in her acting career and somehow she seems to only get better with each movie. I personally think she’s sexy, especially in this photo shoot she recently did for V Magazine.

Michael Jackson’s Opus
Get ready for the one and only printed piece that has been officially authorized by the King of Pop’s estate. The Opus will feature 400 pages of never before seen photographs and anecdotes from those that knew the great MJ personally. It’ll come in a silk covered clamshell case, with a pair of white gloves that you should wear while viewing to protect the pages. There will NOT be a second run print of this so you should order as early as possible, if you want it. As a SOLID MJ fan, I think i’m gonna splurge on this. Pre-orders are being taken now for $165, which may sound steep, but after October 27th that’ll go up to $330, which is OD to me, lol. It releases on December 7th and whomever pre-orders will have a guaranteed delivery date before Christmas.
