Chicago native, Lupe Fiasco, is by far one of my favorite rappers. His wordplay and punchlines are some of the best in the game so, as you can imagine, I was ecstatic when I heard he released a new mixtape.

Verizon is coming at Apple’s NECK!!!
Granted, competition occurs in any industry and in the ad business a certain amount of trash talk is bound to take place. I mean even Bounty paper towels does the split screen of the other paper towel ‘not quite’ being able to wipe up Billy’s spilled apple juice quite as good.

Michael Jackson’s Opus
Get ready for the one and only printed piece that has been officially authorized by the King of Pop’s estate. The Opus will feature 400 pages of never before seen photographs and anecdotes from those that knew the great MJ personally. It’ll come in a silk covered clamshell case, with a pair of white gloves that you should wear while viewing to protect the pages. There will NOT be a second run print of this so you should order as early as possible, if you want it. As a SOLID MJ fan, I think i’m gonna splurge on this. Pre-orders are being taken now for $165, which may sound steep, but after October 27th that’ll go up to $330, which is OD to me, lol. It releases on December 7th and whomever pre-orders will have a guaranteed delivery date before Christmas.

JWT’s offices are way better than yours
I hadn’t heard of ad agency JWT until I hit up the Adversi+y event last week. To say the least… I’ve never seen a workplace like this in real life. It was amazing.

So today I tried to get my Jay-Z tickets to no avail. Needless to say,… I’m tight.

Q-Tip calls Quincy Jones at NYC MJ Tribute
Thousands of people in NYC celebrated MJ’s birthday at the Nokia Theater in New York City on saturday night. Hosted by Q-Tip, Mark Ronson and DJ Spinna it was an all night event of non-stop Jackson hits from each era of his life.

Change Has Come: M&N One Year Relaunch!!!
It’s been just about a year since M&N came together on this joint venture and it’s been a great ride to say the least. All you that check out the site have been witnesses to the daily growth of Nicky Famous and Matt Vandrick. After a year, we are still going strong and we don’t plan to stop any time soon. As you can see, we have relaunched with a new look, new goals, and more motivation!!!
