M&N X MJ: A Birthday Extravaganza
Even if you’re out of the loop, I would hope that you know that it’s Michael Jackson’s birthday this Saturday, August 29th. Matthew’s birthday just passed a few days ago, and my birthday is on Monday. And then it’s Labor Day weeknd which is the birthday of the website!!! We love to party and have a great time on normal days so how could we not turn this next week in to a celebration of life and prosperity?? In a previous post, I informed you of the MJ birthday celebration going down tomorrow night at the Nokia Theatre. M&N WILL be in the building. If you want to join the festivities, please buy your tickets here and come out. It’s a joint celebration for us and any other Virgo’s and Leo’s and we want all our friends and supporters to enjoy the night with us. But there’s more!! Prior to this event, Spike Lee is throwing a HUGE party in Prospect Park, right here in Brooklyn, for Michael Jackson as somewhat of a prelude to the Nokia Theatre. We will be there taking photos and video of the whole thing and apparently, despite the weather, the show will go on!!!

Long Live The King: The Birthday of a Legend
It’s been almost two months since the passing of music icon, Michael Jackson, but it still feels like it just happened yesterday. Between all the artistic tributes and parties, it is clear that he is gone…..But not forgotten. Â I’m glad to see that people are celebrating his life and not mourning his death as we all did initially. If you haven’t transitioned to the celebratory stage yet, what better day to make that move then MJ’s birthday! August 29th, 2009 at Nokia Theatre will be SO live, thanks to Q-Tip, Mark Ronson and DJ Spinna so I suggest that you click here for info and here for tickets. NOW
